The Profitec Pro 500 combines a classic design with modern engineering, its polished stainless steel body and iconic E61 brew group deliver both durability and aesthetic appeal.
The heat exchanger allows simultaneous brewing and steaming while the PID controller lets you control the precise temperature for your espresso. The traditional rotary valves add a touch of vintage charm to the Pro 500, they are low-wear and easy to handle thanks to the spring loaded technology.
Flow control is optional for the Pro 500. If you are interested in water or pressure profiling you can purchase the flow control valve here.
Lots of people that purchase the Pro 500 also buy the Profitec bottomless portafilter, this gives a clear view of espresso extraction allowing you to fine tune your brew.
This Profitec machine comes with the Aroma-C Water Filter Adapter already installed, which allows you to use in-tank filters. It is highly recommended that you use these in-tank filters to protect your machine against limescale and improve the taste of your coffee.
