Over time the inside of your aluminum boiler will become pitted. Pitting is when pieces of the boiler start to brake away. The pieces that come away then continue down into your machine blocking it up. If you got the machine serviced and didn't get the boiler replaced these pieces will continue to fall off and block your machine again. Usually after 10 years you need a new boiler.
