These Blank Baskets are used in conjunction with a Back-Flushing detergent to remove unwanted residue that builds up over time on the inside of your espresso machine. In particular, the 3-Way Solenoid Valve can become blocked or barely functional due to the build up of oily residue and fine particles of coffee from the brewing process.
We Highly recommend Back-Flushing your machine every few months or more frequently depending on how often your machine is used to ensure a long trouble free service life.
We recommend Puly Caff Tablet & Powder detergents for back flushing, and don't forget about descaling your machine too!
