Warranty Policy
At Home Coffee Machines we stand by the quality of all our products. All purchases made on espresso machines and grinders through our website are covered by a 2-Year Warranty, ensuring your peace of mind and continued satisfaction with your purchase. All the machines that we supply are fully repairable, we have schematic diagrams for all machines and access to all parts in our warehouse or directly from the manufacturers. We aren't just here to sell you a product, when you buy a product from us it is the beginning of a relationship, not the end.
Coverage Details
This warranty policy only covers products purchased from our website.
Ireland/UK/Europe
Duration - from the date of purchase
- 2 years for espresso machines and grinders
- 1 year for all other products
Warranty Type: Back-to-base (Customer is responsible for shipping to our service centre)
Coverage Includes:
- All parts and labour required for repairs
- Return shipping to the customer after repair
Customer Responsibilities:
- Shipping the item to our service centre (at the customer's cost)
- Ensuring the item is packed securely for transit
- Damage during transit - we are not responsible for any damage caused during transport. We recommend returning the item in the original packing
International/Outside Europe
Duration - from the date of purchase
- 2 years for espresso machines and grinders
- 1 year for all other products
Warranty Type: Limited
Coverage Includes:
- All parts and labour required for repairs
- Remote support (troubleshooting via video) - we usually request videos showing the issue and can communicate with videos on how to diagnose/resolve
Exclusions:
- If the customer wants to return the product to us for diagnostics and repair, then shipping is at the customers cost to and from seller
- Customers are responsible for any associated shipping and import costs
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Use of domestic (non-commercial) machines in commercial or professional environments
- Damage resulting from improper use or neglect, including but not limited to:
- Incorrect filling or failure to refill the boiler during brewing or steaming, resulting in burnt components
- Lack of regular descaling of the boiler and internal water system components
- Insufficient or irregular cleaning of milk frothing components
- Failure to carry out routine maintenance of the brew group
- Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage caused by the customer
- Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:
- Replacement of gaskets, seals, or similar consumable parts
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or other surface imperfections
- Replacement of worn grinder burrs due to standard use
- Consumable parts such as seals, filters, and burrs, which degrade over time as part of regular use
- Regular maintenance tasks, which are the responsibility of the user, including:
- Descaling of the internal water system
- Full cleaning of milk frothing parts and accessories
- Regular flushing and backflushing of the machine
- Any repairs or modifications carried out by unauthorized technicians, including third-party servicing or DIY fixes
- Shipping costs to and from destinations outside the UK and Europe (international customers are responsible for all associated transport charges)
Important Notes
- This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Home Coffee Machines Ltd.
- Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim.
- Original packaging is recommended for returns. We are not responsible for any damage caused during transit.
- Once your product is received by our service centre, we aim to complete all repairs and return the product within 30 business days for domestic customers and 60 business days for international customers (subject to parts availability).
