If you are purchasing the Arkel Coast espresso machine, we recommend including the Brita AquaAroma Crema water filter cartridge (this is the exact filter for the Coast). This filter is designed specifically for espresso machines, it is essential for protecting your machine against limescale buildup. These filters also help to condition the water, which reduces the level of substances that impair the taste of your espresso.
We would recommend that all of our customers purchase water filters with their espresso machines, as failure to do so can cause issues with your machine early on. Water filters should be changed in accordance with their manual.
